The film uses imagery to touch upon themes of isolation, of seeing life passing by around you and not participating in it, of feeling left behind. The song thoroughly explores an instant, an infinite afternoon, where the singer felt the absence of her lover. This absence materialised itself in the empty room, on the millions of windows she could see through her bedroom, the empty streets of London covered in snow.
